Custom Plant Assets
Working at the intersection of Botany, Landscape Architecture, Design Visualisation and 3D Modeling, I have produced highly accurate 3D models of species endemic to my clients’ service areas. Using software often deployed in the video game and film industry, I can take landscape visuals to a higher level of beauty and accuracy.

Work:

For this specific client I authored 30+ custom plant species, representing over 100 models.

This was in response to a lack of accurate Southwest plant assets, developed a proprietary library of plant models.

These models were deployed across Revit, Enscape, Lumion, TwinMotion and Unreal Engine

With 10+ years experience working with Unreal Engine I can deliver the highest quality animations for projects including animated entourage, landscape scale visualisation, highly accurate foliage and more.

Work:

I have been developing projects in Unreal Engine since 2016 with an initial virtual reality tour of a student housing complex. Since then I have continued to deepen my Unreal Engine understanding and skills.

As a trained landscape architect, I understand both the design intent and the animation craft — translating complex phasing into clear, compelling sequences

Work :

In Unreal Engine and Lumion I have produced multiple phasing animations that communicated complex site and design ideas. 

With any project the surrounding context is key to the design solution, yet these are often outside the scope of many animations. Using GIS streaming tools and Unreal Engine, I can bring the context back into the visual narrative to help communicate design choices.

Work: 

Through my advanced workflow development project, I have gained a deep understanding of Unreal Engine and the various methods of conveying context to the viewer. These projects are varied and ongoing.
